Meg Anderson

I've spent over 20 years in financial services, and what I love most about my role is making sure our clients' investment accounts run smoothly, from the initial setup through every transaction and service need that comes up along the way. There's real satisfaction in knowing that when clients need something handled, it gets done right.

My path here has been pretty varied. I grew up in New Jersey, studied at Hobart & William Smith Colleges in upstate New York, and spent years working in New York City before relocating to Illinois when my sons were young. These days, I live just a mile from our office in downtown Crystal Lake, and honestly, it's ideal. I can walk to the farmer's market, grab dinner at local restaurants, or just enjoy the shops without getting in a car.

Both my sons, Ian and Will, followed a different path than mine and became software engineers. They're both working for a startup based in Omaha. One lives there, the other in Columbus, Ohio. I'm proud of what they're building in their careers.

When I'm not working, I stay active. Pickleball has become a favorite, and I try to walk regularly. I also love getting out to concerts, traveling when I can, and in the right season, skiing, hiking, and cycling. Being part of Leadership Greater McHenry County and staying involved with their Alumni Committee keeps me connected to this community in meaningful ways.
