I've dedicated nearly four decades to financial services because I truly love what I do. Building wealth is important, but helping clients create sustainable retirement income while managing taxes, risk, and longevity is where the real challenge and reward lie.

My journey began in McHenry County, where I grew up with two hardworking parents who taught me that actions speak louder than words. Those values have guided me throughout my career.

Today, I'm proud to own Hammortree Financial Services in Crystal Lake, a community that has been a  wonderful home for my family. My son Shane, who has special needs, has thrived here thanks to incredible local organizations. That experience has made special needs planning a deeply personal and significant part of my practice. I understand these concerns firsthand because I live them every day. I'm not just creating strategies from a textbook.

Family is at the heart of everything I do. Shane and my daughter Nikki are my world, along with Ollie, our furry companion. I often share family stories with clients because they shape the way I approach planning.

Outside of work, you'll find me at the gym, walking, working on puzzles, or spending time with friends and family. I'm actively involved with DayOne Pact, NISRA, Finseca, NAIFA, and my church, St. John's.

I hold CLTC and RICP designations, along with Series 7, 63, and 26 licenses. But more than credentials, I live by the simple principles my parents taught me: say please and thank you, show up on time, and do what you say you're going to do.

What I love most about this business is the ability to build something meaningful while maintaining flexibility for my family. After 39 years, I'm still passionate about helping people create financial strategies, implement them, and stay on track to achieve their goals and dreams.
